Long Island metalcore outfit Call It Home have released a lyric video for brand new single “The Departed” (watch below). The band kick off their “Wasted Time Tour” with Forget Tomorrow on April 7th (see dates below).
Formed in Long Island in 2012, Call It Home have honed a high-octane and thunderous sound, balancing bone-shattering riffs and melodic pop injections. With the release of EP Unfamiliar in 2014 – a record showing a promise and instrumental cohesion belying their relative inexperience as a band – Call It Home posted an impressive rookie effort.
Quickly attaining a reputation across New York and the Northeast, the band landed a number of notable support slots, sharing the stage with genre heavyweights such as The Plot In You, Escape the Fate and A Skylit Drive and performing at the Camden, NJ date of the Vans Warped Tour.
A live show which encapsulates the energy on record and brings it to life, the charismatic rockers have toured with Nevada Rose and White Fox Society, holding them in fine stead for the upcoming East Coast run with ForgetTomorrow. Returning to the studio in late 2015 to begin work on their as-of-yet untitled debut album with Cameron Mizell, Call It Home’s new lyric video for “The Departed” is the perfect way to whet fans’ appetites for Call It Home’s exciting year ahead.
