California surf punks Chaser have announced a new 7″ titled Look Alive with two unreleased songs to be released with all of the band’s proceeds benefiting four different charities. The band announced Look Alive with a teaser video detailing the release and mentioning an upcoming full-length.

The 7″ will receive a limited release of 333 copies split across four labels, Soundspeed Records (United States), Thousand Island Records (Canada), SBAM Records (Europe), and Pee Records (Australia). Arriving in four color variants, each variant will donate to a different charitable organization: Equal Justice Initiative, Educational First Steps, Crisis Aid International, and Surfrider Foundation.

“2020 has been a year like no other,” says bassist/vocalist Jesse Stopnitzky In the face of such unprecedented crises, one’s impact feels further minimized. However, if we have learned anything from these experiences, it is that we are all in this together and have a responsibility to do our part. At the minimum, manage what we can control.”

Pre-orders for the Look Alive 7″ will begin July 31. Find more info from Chaser here.
