Waking up alive is the perfect day to start your day indeed, even if you wake up as Cher’s trippy rendition. Over and above the existential thankfulness, there will always be a party opportunity and we did not missed it that time. ‘Is this Cher?’ is a hypnagogic, delirious anthem that invites our imaginary listener into a parallel reality full of freak-outs and dance-offs. The song’s video clip consists of footage recorded at an actual party we threw in the corridors of an industrial complex, celebrating our sophomore LP ‘WOWSERS!’ This could be Cat Stevens on acid test, or just our friends having fun. It’s us CHICKN delivering like always but never before the last minute.
