Our Bandcamp of the day is Bambara following the release of their deeply narrative, hypnotic punk track “Heat Lightning,” a song that builds anticipation for the release of their album, Stray, set to release on Valentine’s Day via Wharf Cat Records.
“‘Heat Lighting’ is the first of these songs on [the] record. It’s an introduction to Death in his element, barreling down the highway listening to news of destruction on the radio while stuffing his face with candy,” lead vocalist and guitarist Redi Bateh said in a statement.
In support of the album, Bambara will head out on a 24-show tour of North America beginning on February 19 at Union Stage in Washington, D.C. and ending on March 21 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Tickets are available here.
