Minneapolis-based, sci-fi inspired doom band Former Worlds are our Bandcamp of The Day.
The sludgegaze group are composed of Mike Britson (bass), J.J. Anselmi (drums), Boone Julius (vocals/noise), and Erin Severson (vocals). They’ve recently dropped their debut album, Iterations of Time, which is out now through Init Records.
In 2017, Former Worlds released their first EP called Photos of Eve IX-XVI, which is a 20-minute song comprised of multiple sections, each peppered with odd time signatures and unexpected changes.
