Militarie Gun are an punk-rock band from Los Angeles, California.
The band have recently teamed up with Dazy on a collaborative track, “Pressure Cooker.”
The track features an array of harmonies that lay nicely against muffled guitar sounds. Vocals are showcased in a forceful yet tranquil way, making for a contrast and a stand-out track.
Chemistry is caught between the two bands in the accompanied video, directed by Audri Kenley.
“I think a lot of times rock musicians seem to only create within their own band bubble and I wanted to try to step out of the way we’re used to creating songs,” says Militarie Gun vocalist, Ian Shelton. “I’d become a huge fan of Dazy and had been bugging James about doing a song together. I don’t think he took me seriously at first, but eventually he sent me ‘Pressure Cooker’ and within a couple hours I’d sent it back with my vocals, and the song was almost done.”
Both Dazy and Militarie Gun will be playing shows this spring.
