Narwhale are a spanish-rock band based out of Asturias, Spain.
The band has recently released their record, El Espacio Interior showcasing dimly-lit guitar riffs that coincide with distinct ear catching vocals.
The record kicks off with “Nebulosa Barnard 33” an instrumentally heavy track, with a focus on guitar solos that emerge as the song comes with a tranquil close.
Other tracks on the record such as “Pantanos de Neptuno” hone in on the band’s ability to experiment with other elements of music. The track carries out the same ominous tones as the beginning of the record but is purely instrumental. This bold move shows that the group are able to construct stories without lyrics, keeping fans and new listeners intrigued by them.
Narwhale phases out the record with ending track “Los Rojos Vientos de Marte” the cultivates an obscure tone, keeping the beat slow and emphasizing the talents that lays within the clarity that’s in the vocals. Leaving listeners engrossed in the band’s music to come.
