Black metal band, PURE WRATH is set to release their newest record, Hymn To The Woeful Hearts.
The band is geared up to create a record that hones in on the feeling of misfortune and torment and it’s ever lasting feeling. The band manifests elements of black metal laced with classical intrustments, including piano and the cello. The tracks are tragic and gut-wrenching themes.
“I think Hymn To The Woeful Hearts has a lot more intensity and anger in it. Most of the songs are aggressive, straight-forward and densely distorted, while Sempiternal Wisdom has a lot of this “stop and go” thing.” Says the band regarding the new record. “Although both records display melancholic riffs, melodies and rhythm, the new one offers those elements immersed in a more complex nostalgic feeling. I would also like to note that my latest work sounds more natural, organic and earthbound.”
Sempiternal Wisdom is the band’s previously released record, following the same cinematic format, but with a light hearted atmosphere. Making fans curious on what’s next for PURE WRATH.
