The Age of Colored Lizards are a rock band from Oslo, Norway.
The band takes the sound of indie-rock and the raw energy of their own familiarity really making their music their own.
The band have recently released their album, Scrap via bandcamp and are set to release to all digital platforms in early May.
The album is 8-tracks in length, kicking off with “Nothing To Say,” carrying out a mellow vibe with light guitars and smooth vocals.
Other tracks such as “It’s All Gone” features static elements and fade into echoing vocals showcasing the band’s own flare and adding a certain kind of dynamic to the track.
“Solitary You” picks up the pace within the guitar and more passion in the vocals, but doesn’t stray from the band’s initial familiarity.
Other tracks such as “Blurry” eyes hones in on the band’s upbeat rocks side, creating bolder vocals and a catchy hook within the chorus.
The record ends on “We Don’t Care” the track follow the same formula as most tracks on the record, while adding a cinematic whisper of vocals that ascends into a spacious atmosphere, closing out the record on a unique note.
