We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Convey’s music video for their song “Terror” (watch it below) – directed by Ed Shiers. You can purchase/stream the track here, as well as check out the band’s music on Spotify. The track was produced by Jim Kaufman (Anti-Flag, Night Riots, Danny Worsnop).
The band commented on the song & video:
This song is about dwelling within your own fear and paranoia. Ultimately, by the end of the track, we’ve symbiotically come to terms with this paranoia without trying to see past it. Ed Shiers nailed it with his narrative in the video, perfectly tapping into the relentlessly frenetic pace of the music.
About the band:
Convey is an alternative post-rock band originally out of Boston now based in Los Angeles. This group of four pride themselves on putting their own spin on rock music that feels familiar but also looks toward the future of the genre. Having self-released an EP in the Fall of 2016 and their viral video hit “Speed Dial,” Convey has remained largely hidden for the past year, incubating ideas, fleshing them out, and not settling until the grooves cut as deep as the vocals soar.
Grafting their appreciation for legendary acts like Led Zeppelin and Tool to a living love of Queens of the Stone Age and Circa Survive has yielded their debut LP, City of Skin and Bone. The album caught the attention of North Carolina-based label Revival Recordings and they are gearing up to release a full LP in early 2019.
