When it comes to this record, bassist and founder Leif Edling opens up about how special this record is and the care and attention that went into it.
“For many years now, I’ve worked on my song ideas with Marcus Jidell, the producer for Sweet Evil Sun. I still have my problems with the chronic fatigue syndrome, so I can’t go to the studio five days (or more) a week. Some weeks I can only work there two days or even one. Instead, I work at home, on the couch or in bed. This is why it takes me a year to demo my songs, another six months to record the album including a mix for a month or so. No corners are cut!”
