We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Dead Giveaway’s music video for their song “The Deep End” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Safety Off, which is scheduled to be released through White Russian Records. You can pre-order the album here.
Established in 2013, Dead Giveaway plays their music exactly the way they like to hear it: heavy, melodic, catchy, fresh, grungy and sometimes even “reminiscent of high-energy stadium rock” (swnk.org), all firmly rooted in the 1990s punk sound. Having played in the likes of Of No Avail, Close Second, Antillectual, Midnight Menace and Maaswater Veenlijk, these guys are anything but new to the scene. 2014s self-titled debut EP managed to stir things up already: the band joined White Russian Records, accumulated a loyal following and played shows with Ten Foot Pole, Undeclinable Ambuscade, Red City Radio and even made an appearance at the renowned festival Jera On Air.
After releasing their first full length album We Come In Pieces (2015) the band took to the stages. Their latest effort Safety Off boasts a crystal clear, perfectly balanced and powerful (punk) rock sound. With this 12 track full-length, mixed and mastered by heavy weight Jochem Jacobs (Split Second Sound / Textures), the band are well on their way to prove their worth once again.
