We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Demon Head’s music video for their song “Rivers of Mars” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming The Resistance 7″, which is scheduled to be released through The Sign Records on April 20, 2018.
The Resistance is a epilogue to Demon Head’s last album Thunder on the Fields, the release contains two stories that will enthrall the listener. The first single “Rivers of Mars” is a haunting rock song that somehow blends the scene of a forest night with the discovery of water on the Red Planet – our closest, still unknown neighbor world. Demon Head have recorded the songs in a wooden winter house in Denmark. The vibe from the surrounding atmosphere of their new built studio have an impact on the sound and recording of the two new songs. Could it be that we are not alone?
The Resistance is the timeless narrative of the struggles and nightmares of an underground, partisan movement in the face of totalitarian power. Demon Head have crafted the music as a sinister rock soundtrack to tell this tale: our homage to those who defy tyranny.
Demon Head have previously released the albums Thunder on the Fields (The Sign Records 2017) and Ride the Wilderness (This Charming Man 2015). The band have been an active live band and is in may heading out for a month of touring all over Europe.
