Denver metalcore crew Colony Collapse have debuted a music video for new single, “The Love That Remains”,

The Rocky Mountain quintet follow the release of summer’s “Paranoia Agent,” with another relentless assault of resonating breakdowns and soaring melodic injections.

Speaking exclusively to HM Magazine, lead vocalist Noah Khorey explained the story behind the new track: “Saudade is a word unique to the Portuguese language. It describes a longing for a happiness long past, or perhaps one which never fully existed — a melancholy nostalgia. The theme of ‘The Love that Remains’ revolves around Saudade, borrowing author Manuel de Melo’s unique definition of the word in the chorus — ‘A pleasure you suffer, an ailment you enjoy.’”
