We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Dream Version’s music video for their song “Bathwater” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s latest album Fight Fair, which is available now. The video was directed, shot, and edited by Patrick Betzold.
The band commented:
‘Bathwater’ is our fourth single from ‘Fight Fair,’ the full-length we released last summer. In politics, a small step in any direction, like universal background checks for gun purchases, is portrayed by politicians as just the first step towards a dystopian situation in which all gun right are eliminated. When a small reform is suggested by the right or left, people assume it will be taken to its logical extreme and say, ‘Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater,’ really meaning, ‘Don’t do anything at all about this problem.’ This approach is usually successful because audiences, whether at worship, the polls, or on social media, respond the most to dramatic claims. The video is more lighthearted. We wanted to film a story about people who are whipped into a frenzy by something they saw online. We think our buddy Pat did a grand old job.
