Good-time, doomy rockers Royal Thunder just officially announced they are parting ways with their drummer. Although it looks like the split happened on good terms, the band is about to be on tour, so they are definitely going to be in need of a replacement.
Drummer Evan Diprima has been in the band since 2012, and just announced his departure via Instagram:
“Wishing @electrictonecult, @wfiore, @_meltoro_, and the rest of the @royalthunder camp the best. I will never forget the times we had, things we saw, and everything we learned together through the years.
It was time for me to move on for my own reasons but I will always be proud of what we accomplished and created together. Love you guys. Thank you to all the fans that have shown the band love from the beginning, I am excited to see and hear the next chapter!”
The rest of the band has not yet issued a comment, but their tour with Pinkish Black starts March 12. Hopefully, they will find a replacement quickly!
