We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Early Humans’ music video for their song “Time Bomb” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s debut self-titled LP, which was released November 2017.
“Time Bomb” is the record’s opening track, pulling listeners into the band’s explosive brand of alternative-punk. Lyrically, the song discusses the difficulties of trying to wrap your head around the sensationalized thoughts, feelings, and fantasies that you create in your mind. Allowing your mind to wander in this way can result in the physical world in front of you to seem somewhat boring.
The video takes this idea and represents in a way that is straightforward and humorous. According to Early Humans:
“The video is a riff on the absent-mindedness of living our daily lives with a passionate apathy of our surroundings. The song itself is a testament to escapism, weaving in and out of scenarios created inside ourselves that seem better than what is in front of us, until time eventually snatches you up and slams you back into reality.”
Upcoming Show:
September 30 – Nashville, TN at That 70s House w/ Paperback, Bandit, Pumpkinseed, Streetlight Curfew
