The listening experience of Motor Court is an emotional one. The lyrics are empowering yet reflect a darker past. The melodies although soaring and sometimes cheery, are no match for the interruptions of heavy bass and distortion throughout the EP. All things considered, the album reflects a yin-yang balance of emotions, making it relatable and sobering for listeners everywhere.
