New Noise Magazine is pleased to bring forth the premiere of Treadmill at the Finish Line by The Second After. The record opens with “Super Soaker Showdown,” offering quick riffs that open up into a blossoming chorus of vocal melodies. “Wish You Well” is a highly infectious track that represents every intricate aspect of the group. Melodious harmonies, a tight knit rhythmic structure and a hook heavy vocal presence all flourish in the soundscape of The Second After. About the single, guitarist Jeremiah Greason shared, “‘Wish You Well’ is fast and heavy hitting right from the start. It’s a good indication of the direction we’re heading in. The idea with writing this song was to explore more of the high energy ‘punk’ element of our sound, and find a synergy with the technical and groovy aspects of our songwriting.” The EP is out on April 6th, but can be heard exclusively below.

“We’re so excited to present our EP Treadmill at the Finish Line! We’ve been working hard over the past couple of years at refining our sound, and creating something that is truly unique, but also nostalgic in a certain sense. This collection of songs is a reflection of that journey and of us exploring what The Second After means. We can’t wait for you all to hear it!” – The Second After
