Evil Greed Distro Picks: Amenra on their favorite records

Evil Greed presents a new episode of EG Distro Picks. After Full Of Hell, Primitive Man, Swain, AYS, Sect and Bell Witch the Berlin based merchandise and distribution company invites on the famous sofa the Belgian Amenra.

Mathieu Van De Kerckhove (guitar) and Lennart Bossu (guitar) talk about some of their favorite records chosen from Evil Greed’s store.

Anymore by Gleemer, Into Oblivion by Rise And Fall,  Time Well by Cloakroom, Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume by Integrity, White Halo by Heaven In Her Arms, Dopesmoker by Sleep and Mirror Reaper by Bell Witch are just a few records they decided to pick. Different genres and influences that show the background of a band who changed metal music until the dawn of their career.

Contrasts have always been deep, and at the very heart of Amenra’s music, ever since they started uttering their Prayers and holding their Masses, twenty years ago. Tormented darkness has always coexisted alongside luminous beauty, thunderous impacts instantly followed by frail, delicate subtleties. Songs that seem to engulf everyone in the world at once suddenly feel like they are being whispered to you inside the isolation of your solitary womb.
