“This song is the most intense and serious song that we’ve ever written. It’s about how people around you are constantly trying to drag you down with them when they see you doing better than them and how you’ve got to rise above that and brush those toxic people off if you want to succeed in anything. It is probably the ‘heaviest’ song on the EP but at the same time it’s got quite a mellow vibe. For the music video, we decided to film it in my living room. The reason for this is that the song is obviously intense and dark, so a living room setting contradicts that in a way, as you’d associate a living room with relaxing and chilling out in.” – Fight For Friday
