We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of The Fur Coats’ new music video for their song “When Will You Die” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Gumballs in the Meritocracy, which is available now through Johann’s Face Records and Hovercraft Records. You can purchase the album here.

The music video was created by Gabrielle Santos, drummer for Liverpool punks Pardon Us and holds true to the Austin, TX’s band’s ethos of forge ahead/no budget/DIY goofy goodness. Will the tongue ever, ever leave that damned sarcastic cheek?

The Fur Coats guitarist/singer Marc Ruvolo commented on the song: “On this one I’m singing from the point of view of a beetle as he wonders how long it will be until the annoying human race finally kill themselves off. Everyone knows that the patient, ever-watching insects will one day re-inherit the earth.”

Upcoming Shows:
August 3 – Austin, TX. at Sidewinder w/Breaklights, Dead Words
August 5 – Houston, TX at Vinal Edge
