PUP donned their cargo shorts and headed down to Orlando, Florida with fellow Canadians The OBGMs to play their first show in the city since 2019.

The OBGMs gave one of the best opening performances I’ve ever seen. Their music and stage presence embody confidence and pure energy. Watching this band form an instant connection with the audience was magical. By the end of their set, the pit was rowdy and the crowd was doing their best to sing along. If you’re headed to the remainder of these tour dates, you do not want to miss their set!

PUP gigs are always the best time you could ever have at a show. I have never felt the crowd make the floor shake under my feet like it does when they play “My Life Is Over & I Couldn’t Be Happier.” The first time it happened I thought it was that particular crowd or the old venue adjusting to the weight of a few hundred punk fans losing their minds, but I now know it’s a recurring thing that I’ve experienced at multiple shows in multiple venues. This band is best experienced with a few good friends and no inhibitions about singing, screaming, dancing, and maybe shedding a tear or two during “Sleep In The Heat.”

Both PUP and The OBGMs have a long list of tour dates ahead of them, so be sure to catch them in your city if you can! The tour package was also supposed to include Palehound, however, they, unfortunately, had to drop off the remainder of the dates due to a positive COVID case in the band. Hopefully, we will see them back on the road soon, but in the meantime show them support by checking out their tunes and snagging some of their leftover tour merch.
