Oakland noise rippers Glowing Brain released their self-titled track recently. The song is off of their upcoming EP entitled (you guessed it) Glowing Brain, and will be released in collaboration with Don’t Look Down Records & Drink or Die Records on September 22.
“Some of our favorite bands have an eponymous track on a self-titled album. It’s a concise way to convey the sound, message, and ideology of the band, and this song is no different.
A song about nearly coming off the rails. Cold beer, old gear, weed, and a distaste for pop punk disguised as noise rock. The rhythm was inspired by “Fed to the Flames” from the ugliest band in the world, Norway’s Aura Noir.
Turn it up. Crank the mids.” – Conrad Nichols, guitarist/ vocalist
