We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Heart to Gold’s music video for their song “Tokyo” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album COMP, which is scheduled to be release this month, April 2018.
The music video was filmed & edited by Thomas Vescio.
The band commented:
We’ve been sitting on some of these songs for awhile now so it’s exciting to finally release them and share them with everyone! A few of the songs off of our Summer Demos release have been recreated, including this track ‘Tokyo!’
About the band:
Heart to Gold is a band from Minneapolis, Minnesota that formed in 2015. In 2016 the band released their 5 song EP Still Stuck – a bursting and ringing set of songs that became the foundation for the group’s sound. With a string of demos sporadically added to their Bandcamp throughout their stay in Redwing and a re-release of their EP through Tilde Records, the band seemed to be making a name for themselves amongst the Minneapolis music scene.
After playing countless local shows and various touring opportunities throughout 2016 and 2017, the band has gained a supportive following from their energetic character and emotionally-intense live performances. In the short period of time that the current line-up (Grant Whiteoak, Blake Kuether, & Sidian Johnson) have been together they’ve been apart of numerous sold out shows at a few of Minneapolis’ most notorious venues, reinforcing the bands potential as something to keep an eye on.
The band also recently released a music video for their song “Difficult” – watch it below.
