Washington power trio Helms Alee have streamed their new record Stillicide. The record is a record encompassing the traditional sonic euphoria that have made up Helms Alee’s career. This includes walls of heavy riffs, overpowering pop influences blended with math progressions. Stillicide is out September 2nd via Sargent House. Helms Alee is currently on tour for the next month and a half in support of the new release.
The beauty of Stillicide is how quickly the band can change from ethereal movements to gut retching howls, as evidenced beautifully on ‘Tit To Toe,” ending in a soaring urgency. Listen to the record below.
