As they prepare for the release of their third full-length album Crossover Ministry (February 3, Relapse), Richmond crossover punks Iron Reagan have unveiled another song from the record. Listen to “Grim Business” now below (premiered on Stereogum). One of Crossover Ministry’s 18 tracks, “Grim Business” thrashes and grooves in true Iron Reagan form.
Recorded by guitarist Phil “Landphil” Hall and mixed by Kurt Ballou, Crossover Ministry features 30 minutes of relentlessly catchy riffs and irresistibly mosh-ready breakdowns paired with lyrics that run the gamut from satyrical to serious. In the wake of one of the most controversial presidential elections in American history, Crossover Ministry couldn’t have come at a better time.
Iron Reagan will play two shows with Dag Nasty to close out 2016 and will be announcing 2017 tour dates soon. Be sure to check out the Crossover Ministry televangelist spoof album teaser commercial below, and stay tuned for more information about the album to surface.
