Issue 79 Cover Reveal: Home Front

Home Front
Issue 79’s flexi edition cover features Canadian post-punks Home Front, who are on the cusp of the release of their newest opus Watch It Die, an album we can confidently say is going to blow minds when it’s released on La Vida Es Un Mus Disco on November 14.
Grab the issue here or see below for our special subscription offer.
The exclusive flexi is a cover of fellow Canadian band Inepsy’s “Street City Kids,” dubbed “Street City Kids (In A New Dark Age). Listen to the track here:

“Simply existing in a world teetering on collapse can be exhausting. So to bring us joy and comfort our spiritual orders were made clear—Pay tribute to Canadian punk legends Inepsy with a synth-driven cover of ‘Street City Kids’ off their 2003 monster Rock’n Roll Babylon. Like Maple Syrup or sharing smokes or Quebec PCP, simply put Inepsy is a Canadian institution and “Street City Kids” is a cathartic hell ride of a tune with lyrics as relevant today as they were when they were written. Featuring a ripping Jonah Falco solo and Inepsy’s own Chany Pilote’s apocalyptic artwork, ‘Street City Kids (In A New Dark Age)” honors punk’s enduring spirit. Created with community support, it’s a salute to our fallen brothers and sisters, like original guitarist Steve Bennett (R.I.P.) who’s resilience against society inspires us all to kick against the pricks. Don’t let the bastards bring you down!”

Preorder the issue here, or subscribe and get a free Earpeace high-fidelity portable three-pack of earplugs (a $30 value!) while supplies last. Protect your precious hearing and get 100 pages of underground goodness delivered to your door with a freaking exclusive flexi every other month for a whole year starting at $38. In a world of overpriced shit this is a real deal.
