We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Jason S. Thompson’s lyric video for his song “Salt of the Earth” (watch it below). The track is taken from his forthcoming album Half Empty. You can purchase his music through Bandcamp.
Thompson commented on the song:
‘Salt of the Earth’ was written during a period of great change in my life – when I moved to Germany full time from Chicago. It’s essentially about taking risks that make you uncomfortable, and knowing that your life will never be the same after you take that leap. The song title is lifted from the inscription on Helen O’Reilly Tenenbaum’s gravestone (Royal’s mother) from ‘The Royal Tenenbaums.’
