Kevin Devine has recently announced Devinyl Splits No. 6 with Jesse Lacey of Brand New, coming to Bad Timing Records on March 25th. Devinyl Splits No. 6 is the final split in the first Devinyl Splits series. It features both covering songs by R.E.M, with Lacey tackling “Bad Day” (streaming now below) and Devine “Imitation Of Life.” Pre-orders are available now via Bad Timing Records. Devinyl Splits No. 6 is a part of the Devinyl Splits Series, a six-7″ series featuring Devine teaming up with a different partner every release. Other artists featured in the series include Matthew Caws ofNada Surf, Meredith Graves of Perfect Pussy, Tigers Jaw, Cymbals Eat Guitars and Owen. All six performers appeared at the unique & sold-out Devinyl Splits performances Devinyl curated in December in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Boston.
