Frontman Marius Vieth commented on the song:
The first demo of ‘The Wish Of Being Alone’ sounded completely different compared to the how the song sounds now. We liked the first demo, but we were not fully convinced yet, so we spent one night in our studio and re-wrote the song. It all came very naturally and we now feel like this is our most intimate song to date.
Kid Dad have played festivals across Europe this past summer and have toured with Taking Back Sunday, earning them a rabid fan base and a reputation as one of the most exciting new rock bands in Europe.
The band looks to tour the world in 2019, so stay tuned for new tour dates and information on their upcoming album.
