Little Elephant To Release Live Sessions On Vinyl

If you’re unfamiliar with Little Elephant, here’s what you need to know: they’re three dudes from Toledo, Ohio (Mark Metzger, Rob Courtney and Brian Gross-Bias) who have been making audio and video sessions of their favorite punk, emo, pop punk and indie bands from their living room to YouTube since 2011. On October 12, 2016 they’re going to launch their web store where you can buy their handmade, high-quality vinyl cuttings of the songs you’ve been listening to for years. Records made in real time with screen printed jackets that are stamped and numbered from Toledo locals Screenin’ Fever for any avid vinyl collectors out there, these records are made by hand right down to each groove. Time consuming and rewarding as hell, Metzger explains, “in this machine we’re using, even though it takes longer, we have more control over what we’re doing. We can make [the records] as people order them.” Little Elephant are planning on releases from Jeff Rosenstock, Modern Baseball, JANK, Chumped, Sundressed, Brigades, Cayetana, Timeshares and others.

“From here on out, anyone who comes into the studio, they will have their session released on vinyl,” Metzger says. “In a sense, we are just opening our spectrum up to a recording studio. We have another distribution besides YouTube now.”
