The video was filmed live at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ on July 7, 2018 – directed & shot by KL Martin and edited by Matthew Maynak.

The band commented on the song:

‘Hold Ya’ is a dark love song. It’s an adamant plea for the other person in the relationship to get their shit together, and holding them through the night or withdrawal or whatever if that’s what it takes. It’s also become a song of self-reflection, realizing that wasting every night on the street, drunk at a bar, is a step backwards. The bridge lyrics directly call to past relationships, friends and ourselves in stopping a vicious cycle of overindulgence in the rock and roll style.

‘Hold Ya’ is a pep talk of a song to remember that there are people out there that love you unconditionally and will help, so long as you’re willing to accept it.
