Video Premiere: Luciano Ferrara – “Motion Sickness”

Luciano Ferrara

New Noise Magazine is bringing forth the music video for “Motion Sickness” by singer/songwriter Luciano Ferrara. The New York musician provides a strong emotional gift within “Motion Sickness,” trying to sift through the inside of the singer’s shattered mental state and figure out anything. It’s a gripping song to the tune of distorted guitars and a heartsick melody. The singer’s voice throughout all of the track showcases a weathered individual, on the brink of succumbing to the daily struggle of life and diabetes. This is Luciano Ferrara grinding the edges of teeth together and breaking through the grit. “Motion Sickness” will be off the band’s upcoming demo/EP A Demonstration.

“Motion Sickness is a really important interim song between my last record, The Floor Is Not Your Home, and the next album I’m currently recording. Its a step away from my usual motif of ‘when things get rough, pick yourself back up,’ and more of a personal reflection on being divided. ‘Motion Sickness’ is all about deciding if the path that your taking is worth the stress and if the ends justify the means, so to speak. The outro holds the most important line to me: ‘The motion has stopped, but I’m still feeling sick.’ Even when its all over, I’m still trying to adjust.”
