The band commented on the video:
We wanted to make a classic hardcore video that truly matches the intensity of the song. Ideally, we would have done this in a crusty basement but those are hard to come by in southern California. Luckily we had access to an empty lot near our rehearsal space so we made due that. We sent up a flare to all our fans and friends to come out and be a part of the video and rock out with us!

About the band:
The Lungs are the product of demo exchanges between peers Trevor Howard and Billy Goldstein, two musicians in Los Angeles’s underground punk scene who sought new opportunities coming from defunct projects. These exchanges were presented to Trevor’s sibling, Dylan, while on the road and a battery man was immediately found with his response to the recordings. Their sound straddles the grey line between the massive sounding chord structures heard in the classic era of hardcore punk but injected with the rhythmic complexity and frantic riffs which round out the Hydra Head Records catalog.
Are they a group like Dillinger Escape Plan you might say? Not exactly but hearing them for yourself will give you the idea.
Time isn’t your friend and knowing this, the three enter Paracosm Studios in Van Nuys to begin the sessions resulting in their debut EP. The EP captures emotional reactions that range from subjects as substance abuse, personal mental health struggles along with collective economic pressures.
Tours across California and the Southwest ensued with songwriting occurring for their follow up, the Bodysnatchers EP, released in 2017.
