Lyric Video Premiere: Like Tyrants – “Travel”

We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Like Tyrants‘ new lyric video for their track “Travel” (watch below). The song is taken from the band’s latest EP Despicable Feelings, available now through Amazon, Bandcamp, and streaming on Spotify.

Vocalist/guitarist Nick Wagner comments:

“‘Travel’ is the final chapter of Despicable Feelings. It’s about wondering if you’re making the right decisions with how you spend your time. It’s kind of about appreciating the pain, the struggle, in the journey, and being mature enough to make the decisions that are going to lead to your overall happiness.

Above anything else, it’s about not giving up.”

Like Tyrants formed on the West Coast in 2010 and played their first shows the same year. In the five-year lifespan of Like Tyrants, the band has released 4 EPs, played in many states and markets and shared bills with Escape The Fate, Aiden and We Came As Romans. After a brief hiatus, the band was reincarnated in Ohio in 2013 with a new lineup. Their latest, most musically ambitious EP, Despicable Feelings, released May 16, 2015, at Musica in Akron, Ohio to a sold out crowd.

Like Tyrants quickly followed with the release of the music video for “Leach,” the opener on the record. A live music video for “Ranch Wilder” (watch below) was released October 1, 2015. With its latest release, the band is looking to stay true to its punk and hardcore roots while creating a larger-than-life sound like nothing ever heard before.
