We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Ondt Blod’s lyric video for their song “Storma” (watch it below). Ondt Blod vocalist Aslak Bjørn comments on the song: “‘Storma’ is an outstretched bleeding hand, a prayer nobody believes in anymore. The lyrics are a tribute to the hope of when having just one matchstick left, but also the last nail in the coffin of a relationship.”

Ondt Blod released their debut album Finnmark in 2016 with instant success – several radio listings on national radio, widespread press recognition, including a 8/10 in Metal Hammer UK who described it as “a bizarrely uplifting album full of thoughtfulness.” On top of this, they were nominated to “Best Newcomer” in the Norwegian Grammy Awards.

Produced by Blood Command’s Yngve Andersen, mixed by Haust’s Ruben Willem and mastered by Alan Douches, the new single “Storma” builds on their unique rural north-Norwegian Sami heritage combined with big rock guitars, catchy vocals and punk rock edginess. The band themselves describe the sound of their new single as “Baroness meets Miami Vice.”

Kvelertak recently invited the band to do a Norwegian tour with them this spring – a bold and daring move, as Ondt Blod will give them tough competition on being the best new hard rock band from Norway.
