We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Major Moment’s lyric video for their new single “May Leave Scars” (watch it below). The track is available now for purchasing/streaming – grab it here.
The band commented on the song: “‘May Leave Scars’ is about people who are truly talented, but don’t have patience and persistence to really have their talents shine to the fullest potential.”
About the band:
Consisting of two Russian-born vocalists and an American drummer, Boston-based band Major Moment has come from distant parts of the world to form a true modern alternative rock band.
Spearheaded by Andrey Borzykin (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar/Synth) and Sasha Razumova (Vocals), Major Moment has quickly developed a diverse and kinetic sound that integrates heavy guitar riffs, multi-layered synths and melodic vocal blends. Being a truly multinational project, it’s no surprise that their influences are such internationally acclaimed artists as Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, 30 Seconds To Mars, and Muse. Major Moment’s 2018 debut EP, one small stEP, was dedicated to the late Chester Bennington, and their tribute cover song “Leave Out All The Rest,” was shared by Chester’s sister Tobi Bennington and by members of Grey Daze, Chester’s first band, increasing Major Moment’s visibility on an international scale.
The distinguished video for “Leave Out All The Rest” will be released as a standalone asset to create awareness for mental health and suicide prevention campaign, 320 Changes Direction. The video was produced by the Grammy-nominated Project 2 Studios, and features innovative light and movement effects that fluidly capture the emotive nature of the anthemic song.
Just 3 months after releasing one small stEP, Major Moment has already recorded 4 new follow-up singles with acclaimed producer Kevin Billingslea and six-time Grammy Winner Adam Ayan on board. The band is planning to release the songs in the first quarter of 2019. “Considering the destructive messages modern pop culture carelessly brings to society, we feel it’s our social responsibility to deliver an alternative message” Andrey asserts. “One of love, trust, believing in ourselves and supporting one another.”
The band is quickly gaining momentum, in their first year they have already canvassed venues in and around MA and NH, received over 50 college radio adds along with hype from New Noise and Cloak + Dagger, and performed at the 2019 winter NAMM show.
