News: Matt Brasch, Guitarist of The Wonder Years, Drops New Single and Pre-Orders for Solo EP

If you’re familiar with Philadelphia-based pop-punk outfit The Wonder Years, you know that each member has their hand in another project, including guitarist and vocalist Matt Brasch. The multi-instrumentalist has two side-projects he’s been working on. The more emo-inspired band Cold Climb It, and his own solo project where he plays every instrument. He has announced today that, finally,  he is releasing a solo album on January 14th, titled Days, Months, Years, Blood, Sweat, Tears. With digital pre-orders up on Bandcamp, you can check out his newest song “I’m Not Getting Any Younger” below.

Matt had this to say about the album:

Hey friends,

My new song “I’m Not Getting Any Younger” is out!!! You can listen to it and pre-order my upcoming EP – Days, Months, Years, Blood, Sweat, Tears (which releases on January 14, 2022) on mattbrasch.bandcamp.com When you pre-order the record you’ll immediately receive the track “I’m Not Getting Any Younger.”

I’m selling my record for $4 and will donate 25% of each sale on bandcamp to MusiCares. Since bandcamp allows you to pay more (if you’d like), I’ll put 25% of overpayments towards MusiCares donations as well.

MusiCares helps musicians with medical, mental health, dental and addiction recovery assistance as well as relief towards rent, mortgage, utilities, and insurance premiums in times of hardship. They have been a huge help to many musicians since 1989 and have supported many people that I know through the past few years.

Your purchase not only benefits me, but also helps my fellow musician family in need. Thank you.”

Not only will you be supporting  Matt directly you’ll also be helping other musicians thanks to MusiCares. Be sure to check this out, and support the project. It seems like more things are in store with not only Matt Brasch, but The Wonder Years as a whole. You can pre-order it here.
