I wrote ‘Blossom’ when I realized the time had come to let go of the person who I love the most. We grew up together, shaping our entire lives around one another. All we’ve ever wanted is what’s best for each other, and we could no longer give each other our best. So I let her go, to blossom into something beautiful and new.
Mayfield is a melodic-hardcore outfit from Ottawa, Canada. This is their first release of 2018. You can find them on tour in Canada and the United States this summer.
