We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Mountain Bike’s music video for their song “This Lonely Place” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album Too Sorry For Any Sorrow, which is scheduled to be released on March 3rd through Humpty Dumpty Records and Teenage Menopause.

Well known in burgeoning Brussels garage rock scene, Charles (drummer of Thee Marvin Gays), Aurelien (guitarist and fill in bassist of Thee Marvin Gays), Étienne (guitarist and lead vocalist of Toulouse, France based Warm Toy Machine) and Stefano (guitarist of Warm Toy Machine) share an ear for catchy melodies which, in turn, quickly turned into a friendship and desire to write together.

What originally began as a side-project eventually channelled all of their energy and creativity. The four released their first album on Humpty Dumpty Records in 2014, with the fun and psychedelic ‘I Lost My Hope In Paradise’ leading the way.

The record was well extremely well received which quickly lead Mountain Bike to perform (over 150 shows) around Belgium, France and Holland and be invited to Eurosonic and The Great Escape in 2015. Both performances were a hit. It was time to head back into the studio.

Profoundly attached to a DIY and spontaneous approach to writing and recording – a process dear to the likes of Ty Segall, Car Seat Headrest or  King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard – Mountain Bike is constantly embracing their creative flow. After a solid 2 year run on the road and high from the intoxicating fumes of their beat up van (RIP), time had come for a very mouthy, melancholic and fertile Etienne to put pen to paper and let his bandmates weave their catchy riffs into their second record, Too Sorry For Any Sorrow.

Recorded in a renovated 17th century barn owned, this second record was mixed in tight collaboration with Staf Verbeeck (BRNS, Selah Sue, Melanie De Biasio, Drums Are For Parade) at Stiff Studio.
