We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Mr. Lewis & The Funeral 5’s music video for their digital single “$10 Bill” (watch it below).

“I had been collecting and hoarding Playmobil type figures from my kids, eBay, and thrift stores for a while,” says Mike Dickinson of Chicken Ranch Records, who is also the director of the music video for “$10 Bill” by Chicken Ranch artist Mr. Lewis and The Funeral 5.

The song is a cover of the original by Cop Shoot Cop, and was recently released as a two-song single by Chicken Ranch, along with a live version recorded at SXSW.

Dickinson continues, “The punk rocker figure in the clip was purchased by my wife in Japan several years ago, and Baby Jesus is in this moshpit being protected by a Sly Stone type figure.”

About the simple, but effective production, Dickinson says, “I was trying to abide by a few loose rules to keep the budget around $100, and only use the iPhone camera and apps.”

An all-new Mr. Lewis and The Funeral 5 album is currently in the works.
