Murderland Release “Splitsville” Music Video

LA based pop-punkers Murderland, featuring members of The All Brights, Versus The World, and The Bombpops, has released  a music video for their song “Splitsville” (watch below). This is the title track from their new album, available today on Pirish Records. Fans can order the album now at murderland.bandcamp.com.

“In the video for Splitsville, the band plays to a handful of distracted, apathetic patrons of a sleazy (albeit well themed) dive bar,” says front man Mike Kinshella. “This vision of booze-soaked loneliness sums up the themes of Splitsville (both the album and titular song) but, somewhat more accurately, sums up the themes of Murderland’s career.”

The video was conceived and directed by Dan Riesser (The Soup) and stars comedian Brady Novak, whose screen credits include appearances on Community and Weeds.

Murderland will be performing a string of record release shows in the southwest over the coming months. See a couple dates listed below.

Upcoming Shows:
March 4 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Redwood with Bad Cop/Bad Cop, The Shell Corporation, Versus The World and Lysolgang
March 5 – Fullerton, CA @ The Slidebar with Versus the World, The Shell Corporation and Sederra
