New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive music video premiere of “Cycle” by Blue Vervain. The song is off of the debut release, Wounds, which is available to be heard today!

“We wanted to make a video that pulled away all the curtains to what a contemporary relationship looks like in today’s modern society. We also wanted the story in this video to be left open enough so that viewers could make their own personal connections and conclusions however they see fit. It’s simple enough to focus on the fact that everyone is looking for their own connection in this world, but something that isn’t focused on – is the notion that everyone is going through their own “cycles” at their own individual frequencies. That sometimes is a destructive thing in regards to a relationship, but it’s often a necessary thing. It helps us understand what we want, when we want it, and how we want it to happen.”

Blue Vervain is an indie mood rock band from Northern New Jersey. The band was started by lead vocalist and songwriter Jon Khan in the summer of 2018 as a solo project. Soon after, Blue Vervain added bassist James Pawson, keyboardist Nikki Marroccoli, and drummer Ori Yekutiel. The full band officially formed in October of 2018. Blue Vervain is a flower that is used as an alternate remedy for anxiety and depression. One of the main influences behind the band’s name is that the songs would act as an alternate remedy to those struggling with their own mental health. Blue Vervain signed with Mint 400 Records and released their debut album “Wounds” on September 6th, 2019.
