New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive music video premiere of “The Way” by Convey. The band has a ruckus of infectious riffs and energy that links people together. The syncopation of melody between the guitars and vocals dig the melodies into the brain with a cataclysmic push and pull. The song is accompanied with a narrative video which helps the eerie presence of the song settle in. The song is off of the upcoming record, City of Skin and Bone, out on June 14th via Revival Recordings.

“The Way came together in our writing sessions a couple years back during a much simpler time when the notion of a narcissist neo-facist drooling bile into our society from on high in 240 character doses was just a silly specter scratching at the public conscious. We wish we could say listening to Ben’s character in the song sounds trite and anachronistic now, but oh well. Maybe it will help to better annunciate a primal scream, or perhaps just become an unfortunate and woefully unironic campaign theme song in 2020… But on a lighter note, once you gobble this appetizer song down your ear holes, the next course will be the main entree, our debut LP stuffed with more rancorous rockers like this one. And you can preorder it now!” – Luke Dennis, bassist of Convey

Pre-Order City of Skin and Bone here (live on Friday)

Convey pride themselves on putting their own spin on rock music that feels familiar but also looks toward the future of the genre. Producer Jim Kaufman (Atlas Genius, Night Riots, Anti-Flag) has helped graft their appreciation for legendary acts like Led Zeppelin and Tool to a living love of Queens of the Stone Age and Circa Survive which has yielded their debut LP City of Skin and Bone
