Galaktlan is the electronic, experimental project of Estonian artist Taavi Laatsit, currently Brussels-based, who brings a sci-fi aesthetic to every piece he produces.

In 2013, Galaktlan joined the Seksound Records catalog with the release of Second Memory. Since then, Galaktlan has released a number of projects on the Seksound label including full-lengths, EPs and singles. Now, Galaktlan is back with En Garde, his tenth full-length album, and third full-length on Seksound Records.

En Garde is a concept album about duelling. The record escorts the listener to other realms of musical possibilities as electronics take flight and soar into an aethereal, magical atmosphere.

Influenced by Laatsit’s time in the improvisational noise group Kismabande and in experimental project Kulgurid, the album was mixed by Taavi Laatsit himself while Lauri Liivak, long time Seksound mainstay, brought his expertise in mastering to the project.
