New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive music video premiere of “Before the Blitz” by Hayley and the Crushers. The song is a blissful pop rock tune with indie, atmospheric raindrops of sound. The video features Hayley springing into action, taking care of business in the streets. The song is off of the recent release, Cool/Lame, which was released in September of 2018.

“Before the Blitz is dedicated to anyone who has holed up in that crazy-scary codependent bunker with a lover. Dr. Reid Cain (bassist, also my husband) and I wrote it together – we only mildly drive each other crazy. Of course, we can both think of times when past relationships almost sent us to the brink of WWIII. We filmed the entire video in one day, in the rain, mostly outside of our friend’s cider facility in an industrial area of San Luis Obispo, CA. Fun fact: the axe used in the video was a wedding gift that has both our names and a heart engraved on it. The record I throw at our drummer Benjamin Cabreana is Ronnie Milsap: Love Takes A Long Time To Die. That was a random coincidence.” – Hayley Crusher Cain
