New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the exclusive premiere of “Maybe We’ll All Die” by TV’s Daniel.

“I wrote this song in response to the rash of current pop songs stating that “we’re gonna live forever.” That might be the case for you, but Maybe We’ll All Die (get it?). Right now we have idiots running our country and jerks are running the world. A button push away from nuclear apocalypse. So might as well have fun now, while there’s time. Soon enough we’ll all be dead and none of this will even matter. Pretty much what everyone wants out of a pop song, right?”

“It’s the end of the world and there’s only one man left alive. Naturally, it’s TV’s Daniel. He runs and dances in the desert and performs to his only surviving friend, the camera. Even though it’s the apocalypse, he still has to look his best. He dances and screams for help in his red leather suit in the sweltering heat. A final plea for help in the form of a 3 minute pop song.”

TV’s Daniel, veteran of the Texas punk scene, is the new solo project/band from current and former member of VIDEO, Bad Sports, Radioactivity, Mind Spiders, the Wax Museums etc etc. TV’s Daniel funnels the Soft Boys, TRIO, early Psychedelic Furs, and the fringes of Britpop and art-rock through decades of punk record collector scum knowledge. Keeping the song structures as simple as possible, he recruited an all star lineup of some of the best musicians in Austin to play songs that only have 1 to 3 chords. The band features members of Rise Against, The Well, Drakulas, OBN III’s and Leather Girls. If they’re not known as a supergroup of talented Texas musicians, they can at least take claim of the best dressed band in Austin.
