Alabama alternative rock bank Carver Commodore release their song “Drown Me In Emotions” in anticipation of their upcoming EP. That collection of songs is expected to drop in August.
Carver Commodore fuse garage, indie, and pop influences into stadium-worthy rock performances. “Drown Me In Emotions” represents their style well, an excellent teaser to what the EP could sound like.
The band are composed of guitarist and vocalist Payton Pruitt, guitarist Phillip Blevins, drummer Noah Freeman, multi-instrumentalist Clayton Christopher, and bassist David Smith.
You can feel the spirit of alt-giants like Cage the Elephant, Jack White, and The Strokes in the sound of Carver Commodore. It’s a contrast to the swampy, soulful style their hometown of Florence is known for.
