A very cool band you guys need to know if you do not already: The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die. Straight from Connecticut, this epic emo rock band has created such an impact with their music. Their new song released yesterday is absolutely riveting. Released via Epitaph Records, “Auguries Of Guilt” is their newest song since 2021 record Illusionary Walls . The song sends a message about the villains in life who are seen as heroes in the world. Justice is not always served, and perhaps this song can be one of those to stand against the injustices and killers.
Guitarist/vocalist David F. Bello explains: “The people in stories that get labeled as heroes are often brutal killers capable of extreme greed and cruelty on behalf of their allies’ and their desires. This song tries to smudge historical and present-day conflicts with the emotions of loss and vengeance.”
This song has references from history and the Epic of Gilgamesh and compares them to modern issues like the crooked Brazilian Government that caused much pain and presently demolishing the indigenous tribes and the occupation of Palestine. This song “Auguries of Guilt” is powerful and stands out among the rest.
The lyrics are intense and poetic;
Tell the kids there’s a messiah
Tell the soldiers it’s thier boss
Two hectares of olive groves
and Lavender cutting costs.
“Auguries of Guilt” is heightened with emotion and endurance for the strong and broken souls. It has moving musical content with tons of depth as every instrument is played with conviction, and the vocals are all carried with amazing melody. The World Is a Beautful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die have never done anything half-assed and have always gone beyond anyone’s expectations with their authentic sound and conviction. They never cease to speak the truth and blow minds. We live a beautiful and painful life, but their music is a reminder to never give up and to stand up for what is right. Go check them out!
